If there is anyone living in Epping that does not know about eppingatthemovies.com look them up. They are a not-for-profit organisation showing a wide variety of films for the community including many indie films which are not always shown nationwide. Among others we have so far had the pleasure of sponsoring Lady and the Tramp, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Paddington 2 and we look forward to continuing to support this community initiative. It’s a great concept and they usually offer a craft session for children before a children's film begins.
We were also pleased to sponsor The Friends of Coopersale and Theydon Garnon C.E Primary School Summer Fayre in June where the cupcake stand was a huge hit!
Finally… a reminder to all our patients jetting off for exciting summer holidays to remember to take their retainers with them. We usually get a few calls at this time of year from frantic patients or parents to say that retainers have been put in a glass of water in a hotel bathroom and a maid has come in and emptied the water (and the retainers) down the toilet. Don’t leave them in a glass. Clean them and put them back in the box. Don’t leave them at home – they might not fit when you get back.
